Modern football asks players to read situations faster, adapt to changing structures, and make decisions under pressure, capabilities that transfer across positions, systems, and levels. Most academies still train execution. The ModernPlay Transferables Methodology trains the perception, decision-making, and adaptability underneath it.
I spent 17 years as a professional and hold a UEFA Executive Master for International Players, with further training through RFEF, LaLiga Business School, CBF Academy, and Conmebol, European and South American development cultures, not one or the other.
I work with academies and associations on methodology design, curriculum, and coach education, and speak at conferences and coaching courses internationally.
Honours
During 17 years as a professional, I’ve been blessed to walk away with many titles, both team and individual.
9 FA National Leagues, 7 FA Cups, 3 Home Nations Tournaments, 6 Golden Boot Awards, FIFA & UEFA participations such as World Cup and EURO. The most-decorated Futsal player in the UK.
It was the realization of much more than a dream, the absolute expression of happiness to represent England as a player and captain.
